The Baguio-Benguet Librarian’s Association (BBLAI) in cooperation with the Benguet State University Library and Information Services is pleased to invite you to a seminar-workshop entitled ”Raising the Quality of Library Service Through Open Access, and Open Source System (OSS): Final Phase to be held at the Benguet State University Library, La Trinidad Benguet on February 21-23, 2011.

The objectives of this seminar are: (1) familiarize the librarians with Open Access, and Open Source Software and the benefits of its adoption in libraries; (2) to provide an opportunity for librarians to actually administer and manage an open source software; and (3) to enhance and heighten the librarians knowledge and understanding of the Open Source Software as answers to the current needs of libraries.
