The Baguio-Benguet Librarian’s Association (BBLAI) in cooperation with the University of the Philippines Baguio Library is pleased to invite you to a seminar-workshop entitled ”Raising the Quality of Library Service Through Open Access, and Open Source System (OSS): Phase 2” to be held at the University of Philippines Baguio Library, Baguio City on October 13-14, 2010.

The objectives of this seminar are: (1) familiarize the librarians with Open Access, and Open Source Software and the benefits of its adoption in libraries; (2) to provide an opportunity for librarians to actually administer and manage an open source software; and (3) to enhance and heighten the librarians knowledge and understanding of the Open Source Software as answers to the current needs of libraries.

A seminar fee in the amount of TWO THOUSAND PESOS (Php2,000.00) chargeable against your local funds to covers meals and snacks for two days, kits, handouts, and certificate, plus an actual computer hands on.
